Sen. Biltaji served as the senior management officer for the ALIA, Royal Jordanian Airlines prior to becoming a senior vice president. In March of 1997, his majesty King Hussein appointed Biltaji as the country’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities where he served until 2001. Then King Abdullah II appointed him as Chief Commissioner for the Region of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. He currently serves as a member of the House of Senate as the Chairman of Tourism and Heritage House Committee and Mayor of Amman.
